Q- Your company advertises, "No Contracts." What's the catch?
A- There is no catch! Every single customer, business or individual, will NEVER be asked to sign a contract for security monitoring.
Q- How much is your monitoring service?
A- Standard monitoring is $15/month; cellular backup monitoring is $29/month; two-way voice response monitoring is $29/month; and life alert monitoring is $30/month. Monitoring is currently billed on a quarterly basis.
Q- Do I have to have a credit check performed in order to obtain your service?
A- No credit is required.
Q- Do I have to have a credit card in order to obtain monitoring service?
A- No, monitoring is billed on a quarterly basis and can be paid with cash or check if preferred.
Q- If you do not require contracts, how does your business operate?
A- We customize each customer's system based on their needs. At the time of installation, only the cost of the system is charged. This cost includes the equipment and the labor to install. We do not charge an "activation" fee or any of the other “fees” some of our competitors advertise. The system is yours and will never be taken out even if you cancel your monitoring.
Q Can you install a security system even if our home was not pre-wired for security?
A- Yes, our company offers the latest in wireless technology at affordable prices.
Q- Is your monitoring/central station located in North Carolina?
A- Yes, both of the central stations we use are located in North Carolina; one is in Clemmons and the other near Statesville.
Q- Do you offer services other than security?
A- Yes, we also specialize in surveillance equipment, flit alarms, intercoms, central vacuum systems, surround sound, structure wiring of new construction, and more.
Q- Do you have to have a telephone in order to have a monitored security system?
A- No. We offer a cellular service in lieu of a typical landline, or it can be used as a backup feature for those who do have landlines. The monthly monitoring rate for our cellular service is still only a low price of $25/month. At the current time, we cannot offer monitoring service with customers who have Vonage.
Q-I already have a security system but I'm unhappy with my current company. Can I switch my monitoring over to your company using my same equipment?
A- Yes, you can as long as we can program your current system or if your current company does not have "lock out" codes built into your control panel that prevents us from being able to program the system. If we are unable to program, we can provide you with a very affordable upgrade that usually only requires a new control panel and keypad(s)* (*in some cases, we will not be able to use any of your existing equipment depending on age of the equipment or other factors).
